Artist Mr. He Shuhai was born in Nehe City, Heilongjiang Province. He graduated in 1985 from the Department of Ceramics Crafting Technology, at the LiLing Ceramics School in HuNan Province. From 1994 to 1996 he studied "The Basics of Form" at China Central Art Academy. From 1998 to 2000, he lived in GuBeiKou, an urban area of Beijing. In 2003, some of his works were displayed at the in the "Contemporary and Non-Mainstream Art Exhibition" held by the Guan Heng Art Salon. In 2004 he moved to Song Zhuang. There he exhibited in the "First Song Zhuang and Art Festival. In 2007 he took part in the Tenth International Art Exhibition in Beijing. From the July 2007 he own an art gallery in Song Zuang where are he has daily exhibition of his art works, as well other selected artists from Song Zhuang (Beijing). In recent years, articles about He Shuhai and his work , appeared in several newpapers and magazines, and some of his pieces have been purchased by collectors both at home and abroad. Mr. He Shu Hai once said, " I only pay attention to the most mysterious, silent, solemn moments in nature. These have attracted me since I was a child.
